A nice, simple introduction to viruses and how they make you sick。 There's fun, rhyming text and bright, cute illustrations。 Maybe it's a bit silly but I wish they wouldn't have used playing in the mud as the situation after which you should wash your hands。 Yeah, it's good to wash your hands after you've played in the mud but playing in the mud (or at least dirt) can be good for you too。 Especially when the example virus being discussed is a cold virus, you're much more likely to pick that up p A nice, simple introduction to viruses and how they make you sick。 There's fun, rhyming text and bright, cute illustrations。 Maybe it's a bit silly but I wish they wouldn't have used playing in the mud as the situation after which you should wash your hands。 Yeah, it's good to wash your hands after you've played in the mud but playing in the mud (or at least dirt) can be good for you too。 Especially when the example virus being discussed is a cold virus, you're much more likely to pick that up playing with toys than you are playing in the mud。 Also, it shows the other robots wearing masks around the person who is sick rather than the sick person wearing one。 I know they were demonstrating that you should cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze but still, some modeling of the sick person wearing a mask would have been nice since that is the most effective way to prevent transmission。 Yeah, it's a simple kids book, so I shouldn't be too hard on it but it is supposed to be nonfiction, so I feel the above complaints are justified。 。。。more
